2021 Virtual Pre-Application Training

Need Help with your ANA Application?

If you are planning on submitting an application to the 2021 Administration for Native Americans (ANA) funding competition, join us for our Pre-Application Training. Staff from the Eastern Region Training and Technical Assistance Center are hosting FREE 3-day Pre-Application training sessions in April and May 2021. Training participants will learn how to polish and package their ANA grant application.

There are four (4) sessions to choose from. Each session will be capped at 25 registrants. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. To register, please click on one of the sessions below.

Session 1: April 27 – April 29, 2021, 1:00 – 4:00 PM EST Daily

THIS SESSION IS FULL. PLEASE REGISTER FOR SESSION 3. Session 1 will focus on the ANA Native Language grant opportunities – Preservation and Maintenance (P&M) and Esther Martinez Immersion (EMI).

Session 2: May 4 – May 6, 2021, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST Daily

THIS SESSION IS FULL. PLEASE REGISTER FOR SESSION 3. Session 2 will focus on ANA’s Social and Economic Development Strategies (SEDS) and Environmental Regulatory Enhancement (ERE) funding opportunities. Potential language applicants (P&M and EMI) may attend as well.

Session 3: May 11 – May 13, 2021, 1:00 – 4:00 PM EST Daily

THIS SESSION IS FULL. Session 3 will focus on ANA’s Social and Economic Development Strategies (SEDS) and Environmental Regulatory Enhancement (ERE) funding opportunities. Potential language applicants (P&M and EMI) may attend as well.

Session 4: May 18 – May 20, 2021, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST Daily

Session 4 will focus on the Social and Economic Development Strategies – Growing Organizations (SEDS-GO) funding opportunity. The purpose of the SEDS-GO program is to provide financial assistance to American Indian tribes, Alaska Native villages, and Native non-profit organizations that identify as growing organizations and seek to build their internal capacity. SEDS-GO funding is a special initiative designed to support projects that address internal organization capacity building to improve the administrative, technical, and executive functions of an applicant which will in turn improve service to their external community. Requirements for SEDS-GO applications are different from the other ANA funding opportunities. It is highly recommended that you attend the SEDS-GO training if you plan to apply.

NOTE: Participation in the training sessions are limited to individuals who are employed by or are governing officials of Tribal governments and Native nonprofit organizations serving American Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders. Independent grant writers must provide a signed letter on organization stationary with their registration form in order to attend.
