Pre-application Training and Technical Assistance
ANA, in collaboration with regional training
and technical assistance providers, implements three types of free
training and technical assistance to prospective applicants across
the U.S and the Pacific territories: project development training;
pre-application training; and pre-application electronic technical
assistance.
Pre-application Electronic Technical Assistance (ETA)
Pre-application ETA is designed to provide
individualized assistance to prospective ANA applicants through
phone, email and fax.
To be eligible for pre-application ETA, applicants must have completed 75% of the ANA application. Please contact us at 1-888-221-9686 or via email at anaeastern@namsinc.org to register for pre-application ETA. At the time of registration, a letter will be requested from your tribe or non-profit organization. The letter should contain a short summary of the project, description of community involvement, project development and pre-application trainings attended, and the primary contact.
Eligibility for Technical Assistance
ANA Eastern Region offers free training and technical assistance
workshops to Tribes and eligible Native non-profit organizations
in Region I. There is a limit of 2 employees per eligible organization
and 3 employees per Tribe. Although there is no registration fee
for the trainings, attendees are responsible for all of their own
travel and per diem costs. Early registration is recommended because
trainings are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. Please
do not make travel arrangements until you receive confirmation from
us.
Independent grant writers must fax us a signed letter on organization stationary to (571) 323-2101 prior to the training in order to attend.
